Okay, I'm not going to spoiler this because most of you have seen 60% (or more of this episode). Joey does the interview with Soap Opera Digest (This really is a publication in the USA, and has a great reputation), however, most of this episode deals with the fact that while Joey is thinking of his answers he reflects back on some of the funnier moments with the gang.
Other than that, this episode doesn't really take any of the previous storylines any further...mostly just reflects on what was past and what was funny.
And the Joey/Rachel thing...very over. No romantic thoughts from Joey thinking what life would be like with Rachel, and there wasn't any "awkward" silences between the two. So, it was like nothing previously ever happened. (Possibly because the season is finishing up and I think that this diversion was just something to take up some time?)

Hi! Got kinda excited there with all the posts? It's okay, I'll put them in all of the friends topics so that people won't miss them when they look around the board, and is it okay if I delete some of the extra ones?
Anyway, hey, it's good to have you here and thanks for sharing your information. Have you ever been to a friends taping? That would be cool for you since you have someone in Cal that you know.

Tie in scene: Joey goes to his audition confident that he'll get be the host of the show because, hey, he knows everything about it. However, when he gets there he finds out that his agent should have sent him the "new script"....the game has been completely changed (awwww!) and so now it was going to be a boring question/answer game because nobody understood what the game was about. (But, of course, we all do, right?) At first Joey was really sad about that and wasn't going to try out for the host of the game that replaces the "best game ever", however, after finding out that bikini clad assistants would be on this show, Joey, says, "Let's play Bamboozled". (Or in another words, he tried out to be the host of this show). And did he win and become the host for this show? Only the writers know for sure....

Bamboozled the Game Part 3 of 3 The scene opens where all the guys are very into this game. Joey is the only one standing, Ross & Chandler are sitting on some chairs. This portion is like a "Speed Round" where there is quick-hyper talking and hardly any breaks. To keep in the spirit of this fast paced sequence, I'll try to keep the tags & explanations short. Remember, Joey has his very fake game show host voice, Ross still is very competitive and wants to win, and now, Chandler is very much into this game... Joey: In what John Houstan film would you hear the line, " Badges. We don't need no stinkin' badges...Chandler: Treasure of the Sierra Madre!Joey: Correct. There is....a possible....backwards bonus.... Chandler: Madre Sierra the...of...treasure!!! Joey: Yes! ::Ross mouths an unheard, "What?" as he impatiently waits his turn:: Chandler: I'd like to go up the Ladder of Chance to the Golden Mud Hut...please... Joey: Wise Choice. How many rungs? Chandler: Six Joey imitates the sound of a screeching monkey, then says, "That noise can only mean one thing...." Ross/Chandler (say together): Hungry Monkey!!! Ross points vindictively to Chandler and says, "Ha!", then adds, "I'd like a Wicked Mango Card." Joey: Okay, this is an audio question. Joey they starts saying, "Bah dah, bop-bah-deyah-Dah..." (Tune from "I Dream of Jeanie" sitcom). Ross: (sweating trying to remember what song it is) Oh...Oh my God...Okay, I know this...give me a second... Chandler: Tell it to the Time Turtle!!! Ross turns toward Chandler and says, "Shut up!!!", then he turns towards Joey and says, " I Dream of Jeanie." Joey: Yes!! Yes!!! You're back in the lead!! Ross: I'd like to spin the Wheel. Joey fakes spinning an imaginary wheel, which all the guys transfixes on. Joeys finger assuming where the imaginary wheel is spinning towards, while he says, "Rrrrrrr-rhat-tat-tat-tat-tat....tat.....tat...........tat.........ta" "Oh c'mon!!!" yells Chandler & Ross impatiently Startled, Joey continues, " Uh......Super Speedy Speed Round!" Ross: Is there a hopping bonus? Joey: Of course. Ross stands up and sorta does a twist with his upper body while hopping on his right foot. Joey: Who invented bifocals? Ross: Ben Franklin (Ross continues his twist/hop) Joey: Which monarch has ruled Great Britain the longest? Ross: Queen Victoria Joey: Correct again. But! You forgot to switch legs between questions! Ross: What! (he stops hopping and tries hopping on his left foot). Joey: Soooo....no hopping bonus! Ross: (stops hopping and says dismayed) Nooooo!! Every time! (A disappointed Ross, sits back down). Joey: Now, over to Chandler.... Chandler: I'd like a Google card Joey: Are you sure?? Chandler is now confused, should he or shouldn't he do this, "Yes!" he says. Then he thinks about it, "No!" But, then maybe he should..."Google!" Chandler says confidently as his final answer. Joey: Oh my God! (Little suspense pause here)...Congratulations Ross...because...Chandler you've been Bamboozled! Chandler: No! Ross: Yes!! (very excited because he won!) Chandler: Oh....this is the best game ever!!

Bamboozled - The Game Part 2 of 3 This scene opens with Ross, still very competitive and Chandler wishing he wasn't here, but, has nothing better to do, and Joey in full fake game show host voice (unless otherwise noted, see explanation on Part 1) so...anyway... "All right Ross, you're in the lead....Would you like to take another question or spin the Wheel of Mahem?" says Joey. "The wheel has not been my friend tonight, Joey, uh...I'll take another question," replies Ross. "Okay, this is going to b e tough. Hold your breath," instructs Joey. "It's okay. I'm ready," misunderstands Ross. Joey returns back to his normal voice and shows Ross the script, "No Dude, you gotto hold your breath 'til you're ready to answer the question...it's part of the game..." Chandler "This is rediculous!!...He's not gonna..." Chandler's voice trails off as Ross takes a very loud inhale and determines to win this game. "Okay," says Joey back into game show host voice, "What do you have the fear of if you suffer from this phobia?....Triss...kah...." Joey nervously attempts the word again...."Holy cow, that's a big word....Triss...Kah...." Joey returns to his normal voice, "Seriously look at this thing, Chandler, how do you say that?" Joey walks to chandler. "Let me see that," Chandler says. "This one right here," Joey points at the script as Ross whimpers. "Triskahdeckaphobia" Chandler replies. (I know I just typed it the way that it was pronounced.) "Fear of Triscuits," exhales Ross. "No...No..." says Joey in his fake Game Show host voice," Fear of the number 13!" Ross groans because he missed the question. Chandler says, "Fear of Triscuits!?" "It's possible, they have really sharp edges, " replies Ross. "All right Chandler," says Joey, "You're up." "Wait a minute," interrupts Ross, "I believe I'm entitiled to use my Angel pass for a free turn..." "This game makes no sense!!!" says Chandler. "You know," says Ross, "You're just upset because you're losing..." "Oh c'mon Ross," says Chandler as he gets out of his chair and faces Ross, "I think we're all losers here." "Chandler," says Joey as he attempts to make Chandler sit back down, "You can either spin the Wheel or pick a Google card." Chandler feigns thinking, "Oh...." Then he says bluntly, "I don't care." "You must choose, Mr. Bing," says Joey as he makes Chandler sit down. "Either." says Chandler, "It makes no difference." "Choose. You jack ass." says Joey looking at Chandler like if Chandler doesn't cooperate then Chandler will get a black-eye from Joey. "I'll take a card," says Chandler. "Okay..." says Joey, "You picked a Gimme Card...you get all of Ross' points!" Chandler beams. Ross is notably upset, "What!!!!" "This game is kinda fun," smiles Chandler. Ross turns towards Chandler and says, "Don't you think it's a little crazy that you got all my points...just because..." "I don't think the contestants are supposed to speak to each other..." Chandler says. Part 2 of 3.....part 3 to be posted soon.....sorry, gotto go.

BamboozledThe Complete Game in 3 parts Because of the "time elapsed between these scenes" You spin the Wheel of Mahem to go up the Ladder of Chance, you go past the Mud Hut to get to the Golden Monkey, you yank his tail...and...boom...you're in Paradise Pond...Joey's explanation of Bamboozled to show how easy of a game it is to understand Joey is busy studying the script when the guys walk in and ask if he wants to go shoot some hoops. Joey declines saying that he has an audition, but has no idea what the game is all about. Ross and Chandler become "contestants" of the game. Chandler, really not interested in doing this...while Ross...you remember how competitive Ross is...well, no explanation then...here's what happened: "Okay let's play Bamboozled!" Joey says (fake game show host voice). "Bamboozled?" scoffs Chandler Joey ignoring the scoffing says in his normal voice, "Isn't that a cool name?" Simultaneously, Chandler says, "Nah", while Ross says, "Yeah". Joey goes back into character, complete with fake game show voice (sorta sounds like Buzz Lightyear, but, nevertheless it's cool), "Uh, our first contestant is Ross Geller! Why don't you tell us a little bit about yourself, Ross?" "Well, I'm a paleontologist, ummm, I live in New York, I have a son named Ben..." Ross looks towards a "camera" and waves, "Hi Ben..." Joey interrrupts, "I said, a little bit, Ross...Now, how about you Chandler?" "Well Joey, I'm a headhunter." says Chandler, "I hook up out-of-work soviet scientists with rogue third world countries." Chandler then looks towards a "camera" and waves, "Hi Rasputin." "Excellent!" says Joey, "Let's play Bamboozled. Chandler you'll go first. What is the capital of Columbia?" "Bogata" replies Chandler. "It's Bah-go-dah," corrects Joey, (Joey's pronunciation rhymes with pagoda), "But, close enough...uh now you can either pass your turn to Ross or pick a Wicked Wango Card." "What does a Wicked Wango Card do?" inquires Chandler. "I should know that...Just a moment please," smiles Joey and then he searches through the script looking for the answer, "Here we are a Wicked Wango Card determines whether you are higher or lower." "Higher or lower than what?" asks Chandler. "This is embarrassing," smiles Joey (again), he again starts searching through the script looking for the answer. Meanwhile, Chandler turns to Ross and says, "Can you believe how lame this is.?" Ross (being his competitive self), says, "I'm sorry...but, I don't believe the contestants are allowed to talk to each other." Break to other scenes....part 1 of 3...more later.....

Sorry about that. I usually write a highlight reel on this. And, we were in a very funny mood while watching this, so, this is one of those episodes that you need to see it to understand the physical comedy.
The three storylines seems to be: 1)Rachel's feeling insecure about being a Mom, 2)Monica's guilt because she forgot to invite Rachel's Mom, and 3)The Bamboozled Game. For us, we ignored 1 and 2, and loved 3. That game was very funny and something that I would like to do...although, it did look rediculous and lame...well, our parties are kinda like that too, but, we don't care. We just like to have fun.
And, I'll add to this later. Well, here's summary of 1 & 2 because it would be short anyway. (I'll add #3 later). 1. Rachel's Mom points out different aspects that Rachel had not even considered thinking about while pregnant. So, she has second thoughts of being a Mom, however, Ross "saves" the day by saying that they will be all right and that Rachel will be a great mom. 2. Monica feels guilty for not inviting Mrs. Green. (She ends up phoning Mrs. Green the last minute and telling her about the party that both of Rachel's sisters already had told Mrs. Green about). Mrs. Green makes it a point to make Monica feel even more guilty. Pheebes tries to resolve this by saying that Mrs. Green ought to be thankful to Monica for the wonderful (but boring) party, but, Monica would not listen at all. Follows Mrs. Green out of the apartment while begging forgiveness, and apparently falls down the stairs. Lisping (because she bit her tongue), all you hear Monica say is that she is really sorry. Yay...I'll write about 3 later.
And no...the Joey thing is over (as far as Rachel goes). But, the guys playing Bamboozle...that will be written about later.

Spoiler for this episode: * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * GUEST STAR MARLO THOMAS RETURNS AS RACHEL'S MOTHER -- Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) panics during her baby shower when she realizes how totally unprepared she is to care for an infant, and reluctantly goes along with her icy mother Sandra's (guest star Marlo Thomas, "That Girl") plans to move in and help out -- which hardly makes roommate Ross (David Schwimmer) jump for joy. Meanwhile, as Monica (Courteney Cox Arquette) tries to atone for forgetting to invite Sandra, an exhausted Chandler (Matthew Perry) and Ross help Joey (Matt LeBlanc) prepare for his audition as a new game show host by playing the befuddling game over and over. Lisa Kudrow also stars.
