Oh Kay, NBC hasn't posted detailed information about this episode yet, but, here's the new name:
816 - TOW Joey Tells Rachel
(And the new name is updated on TOW The Season 8 episodes in order. A little bit concerned why the "name" change, but, maybe there's too much speculation everywhere about what these episodes are that they're letting everybody that uses the net know that they are the source?)

Okay, I'm going to write highlights about this episode. Sorta spoilerish so here's a bunch of stars to let you get out in case you don't really want to read about what was aired.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * 816 - TOW Joey Tells Rachel
This is the first episode after the Olympics. Sooo, it was appropriate and necessary to show the end of 815 where Ross is about to leave Central Perk after thinking he has helped Joey with good advice by confronting the "guy" about the girl that Joey "likes." Ross is just about to leave when Joey blurts out, "It's Rachel." Ross freezes. It's like he can't believe what he is hearing, turns to face Joey and says, "I'm sorry, did you say Rachel?"
Joey: (faces Ross) yes Ross: (still calm) You like Rachel? Joey: Yes, I like Rachel. Ross: (Getting a little upset and raises his voice): Rachel? Rachel!!!?
Anyway, the exchange continues that Joey feels very bad and tries to calm Ross down, and Ross is surprised, angry, shocked, then leaves. Meanwhile, Joey feels really bad, turns around and faces Gunther face-to-face. Gunther yells at Joey, "Rachel!!!!"
Meanwhile, Phoebe meets Monica's "soulmate"...and she tells Rachel and Chandler. Phoebe and Rachel talk about Monica's soulmate as if Chandler is invisible. (And Chandler reinforces that and says some very funny lines here as well in this whole episode). However, a line that haunted me after I watched this episode, "Isn't it sad that soulmates never meet..." (Later...why this struck a nerve with me.)
Monica goes to Ross and convinces Ross to talk things over with Joey because Joey feels so bad that he wants to move. "Joey wants to move to Vermont..." says Monica. "Vermont?" says Ross, "Why Vermont?" Monica then says, "Because he wants to move out of the country."
Anyway, Ross goes to see Joey...(this part needs to be watched rather than read because the funny part in this are the facial expressions, not the script.) After much talking, then, Ross convinces Joey to tell Rachel. Joey has no idea what to say. He goes to Ross/Rachels apartment, and tries to plan what to say, just as he had the nerve to knock, then Rachel opens the door and is about to go to work. A hasty exchange, Joey asks Rachel to dinner. Rachel says, "Sure" and now Joey has more time to figure out what to say to her.
Meanwhile back with Monica/Chandler/Phoebe...Monica & Chandler have already been at Central Perk for awhile when in walks Phoebe with her new boyfriend (Monica's soulmate). And...Phoebe was right Monica gets along with the guy great! Much to the dismay of Chandler. Later back at the apartment, Monica suggests that they invite Phoebe & her new boyfriend...which starts Chandler into sarcasm. (Funny lines). They make up, Monica saying that they (meaning Chandler/Monica) maybe are not "soulmates", they have to work on their relationship. And meaning that they were meant to be with each other.
Joey/Rachel are having dinner. And before they could really talk, they are interrupted by the waiter. Anyway, when they are finally alone...Joey nervously says, "I think I'm falling in love with you." Rachel says, "What?" Joey repeats what he said. Rachel looks at him, thinks, then she slowly turns around, then says, "Are you talking to me?" Joey expresses a "yes". Rachel says..."Oh, I get it, it's a joke..." she starts to laugh, then she looks at Joey, "But I don't get it..." Joey expresses that he really is in love with her. Rachel is speechless...later after some quiet, Rachel says, "Joey, I love you...but..." Joey says, "I know...It's kinda what I've been expecting so...I'll just leave..." Rachel starts to cry, "Joey don't leave like this...don't do this to a pregnant woman..." Joey says, "Aww Rachel don't...you'll start me too...oh..." And he starts feeling really bad and sits down. Rachel says, "Can I just...I don't want to lose..." And Joey says, "Yeah"...and they have a hug. Joey then says, "It was a joke, you know?" Rachel says, "Yeah, good one..." And they are in a hug that lasts a long time...so long that the place they were going to have dinner at is close to closing. * * * There's a lot more to this episode. I edited this a lot. And the scripts will not tell you what the facial expressions do. I'm so confused about this whole situation. I was laughing and crying at the same time! Anyway, whether it was planned or not, it gave me the impression that Joey is Rachel's soulmate...they understand each other without talking...and isn't it sad that they didn't know...and maybe now it's too late...
If you have any views about this episode, once you see it, feel free to write in.
