USA - Friends 1st Season on DVD

Okay,  my sad tale of woe is over.  Friends complete first season is finally going to be released on DVD to the USA.

RELEASE DATE:  April 30, 2002  List Price:  $69.98

And I'm not endorsing Amazon.com, this is just proof that it is going to be released.  Whether you order from them or not is up to you.  Maybe all those that aren't from the USA will advise us whether to buy from Amazon.com or not.  Or, if you have bought from Amazon.com, have you had any problems?  I haven't heard anything bad about this company.  Has anyone?

Hey, you know this boxed set is kinda neat because....really there is a because... the creators of the show talk about their show.  Anyway, that's as far as I got...I suppose I have all summer to review this, and if you're from the USA, you might think it's just repackaging what was suppose to be ours to begin with but, not.  

The creators discussions must have been recently taped because they said that their characters had evolved from the very first episode to their 8th season.  So, perhaps some of it is new & old?  I don't know, I guess I need someone here that has the 1st season and lives in a different country and bought it a while back.

Anyway, it was interesting to know their thoughts about this.  And now I can see why some of the things doesn't seem to work and how they kinda have to "research" their scripts for freshness.  Well...all the boring stuff, that I like to hear, if interested, let me know...if not, I know.
