This summer they (as in the news) were saying (in the USA) that there will be another season (after this season), but it will be reduced episodes so that the actors/actresses could have time to do other projects if they wanted to. And that's about all I've heard about it, so, I assumed that was it.
(Dawson's Creek is fun to watch. This season is...well, I won't say because I don't want to spoil it. Let me know what you think when the season starts.)

yeah i will friends and dawsons creek are my fave tv shows of all time, i so cant wait till when they start, plus they start arouns the same time, lets just not both on at the same time  they couldt be tho cos they are both on E4, ive herd a few stuff about dawsons creek, about dawson and jen, and mitch  |

Oh no...I can tell you have heard something. Dawson's Creek is one of those shows, though, that watching it is so much better than trying to describe what happens.
Anyway...I'll wait for you to see them and then if you want to talk about them, then, feel free to bring the topic back up.

What I heard was that;According to the NBC Entertainment President Jeff Zucker it was entirely up to the cast to decide whether to continue for a 9th season or not.So it is entirely in the hands of the cast,but there is one drawback which is they are refusing to raise the salaries of the cast members so if the cast want to continue,receiving their old salary pay-checks of $ 750,000.- the show will go on for at least another season,but if they decide not to for monetary or any other reasons,the current 8th season will be it. Now,I received this news like a month or a month and half ago but haven't heard any announcements on behalf of the cast yet so the decision is still up in the air, I guess. I hope and pray they decide to continue. Keep your fingers crossed...  |

Well I hope if they continue they do it well and not like "always the same jokes". The idea I had suddenly one day was that they could do like "Refriends", that is, every year doing a one hour episode so that we could see how their lives evolve and with crazy situations again... that would be easier for script-writers cause there wouldn't be the problem of repeating every day the same. On the other hand, it would be difficult to get everybody together once a year again... What do you think?

well i read like a couple of months ago, on Ted Casablanca's "The Awful Truth"...that Friends will have the 9th season, i don't remember it that well, but is the most important that is gonna be a 9th season but the only thing we have to do is wait and see what happens

Hey! I can tell this is a "hot" topic. Everybody seems to want to know. Sooo...I guess until we can get a reliable link that states what happens...then we just wait and see.
