I think you should visit this site: www.lethimstay.comIt's really touching, it's about two gay people and their kids, the law says that they have to take one back and that they can't adopt him, apparently gay adoption isn't allowed in Florida where they live. I think it's extremely sad and unfair!

A saw a couple of minutes of what Rosie had said about that topic. And, I was because Renee Russo was scheduled to do an interview and she saw what Rosie said and when Renee was inerviewed she cried and said that she wasn't going to say anything, but she was raised in a gay household and she agrees that Rosie is right about the issue that there are people that should adopt and people that shouldn't adopt. And Renee said that she wanted to thank those women who raised her, so, she did. Anyway, I don't know what to think about this. I just haven't really figured out why every state is different in their laws. I don't know if other countries are like that. Do different regions where you live have different laws? (That is, if you are not from the USA).

I can't believe that I live in one of the most backwards states. It's really very worrying. And you have to wonder. I remember watching the PrimeTime special that they had on this, and although I missed the first half it was still a great shock to see that idiot FL legislator believe that it was unacceptable for a gay person to be a parent. I mean how unintelligent is that. It doesn't really say much for his character. The way that he was represented on tv had him looking like a big idiot..!!!

I don't think we have different laws in different regions where I live... If I'd paid attention in Swedish History class I could tell you more about it but since I didn't.... We generally have the same laws!

i reckon it makes no difference if you are straight or gay, if a child is loved, it can live with anyone!

Hi everyone! I'm a Freshman in high school and my Sociology class is having us do a short essay on any subject about marriage or parenting. I wanted to do it on gay adoption, but I can't find any statistics or graphs or even recent articles. Can anyone help?
