I'm listing the major contenders for the Oscars. And, I've been researching this one for hours, and hours, and hours. I can't seem to find a promo (similar to A Beautiful Mind that lists all the awards...and I'm still looking, if I find one, this message will be replaced by the pic. So far, though, no luck. Anyway, the "official site" is: www.moulinrougemovie.com/mr1.htmIt is beautifully done, by the way, but, takes hours to load, and I'm still looking through everything for a promo listing all the awards received, so far. This, however is the site to go to for the best information about the show. And it is very well done (takes minutes to load in and it is organized so that one click and you have the story and the pictures. So rather than repeat another person's hard work, here's the webpage (Very worth your time). www.movieweb.com/movie/moulinrouge/index.htmlMore about this show....I'm waiting for some information to be listed on another webpage, before I list one of the awards that I know that it has won.

go to http://www.imdb.com; MR has its own webpage there and on the left there is an "awards&nominations" link where you will find the info (my favourite among all oscar contenders but will win nothing, i fear)

Thank you very much for your help. It would be nice, though, if the show listed their awards with a pic. They are fun to look at, and pics enhance the awards. Anyway, here's the link to the site that Mitchell suggests and it is a good one: us.imdb.com/Tawards?0203009Update on this site is the awards that they have won (that says "nominated" are): Grammy - Best Compilation Soundtrack Album for a Motion Picture, Television or Other Visual Media (See our Grammy Thread - In the NY Times/TOW Matthew Perry at the Grammys) And...there's another one that I know they have won, but, I can't post it up until it is posted on the "official site" that they received it from...so stay tuned.

I will have a look at that soon, right now I'm at school and I'm bored to death! I swear, I just spent ages writing some crazy stuff in Spanish!! ;D Jeje... Oh well! The thing is that they remove almost all the sites at school and it sucks big time.
BTW what did you gusy think of Moulin Rouge? I liked it a lot and I think the songs in it are great, especially "Your Song" (by Ewan McGregor).

MR was a total knockout! i have not felt so exhilirated by a movie since i dont know how long! macgregor has a fabulous voice! when i play "your song" or "come what may" i ALWAYS get goosebumps! but that's me: a psycho-sucker for romance!

I can't believe that it took so long for a site to be updated. Anyway, I think everybody on the web reported this award a looong time ago, but, I had to wait until it was officially up. Oh well, here's the award that I was going to post, but waited. From the Producer's Guild of America, 2001 Golden Lauren Awards: The Darryl F. Zanuck Producer of the Year Award in Theatrical Motion Pictures, MOULIN ROUGE! - Martin Brown, Baz Luhrman, Fred Baron And, hey, you're not alone, there are some people that really didn't enjoy this movie. However, it was very different. I don't know quite how to put it. But, anyway, thanks for your opinion.
