Wow! This episode seems so much different than what was going on. What do you think?

Okay, I'm not going to spoiler this because most of you have seen 60% (or more of this episode). Joey does the interview with Soap Opera Digest (This really is a publication in the USA, and has a great reputation), however, most of this episode deals with the fact that while Joey is thinking of his answers he reflects back on some of the funnier moments with the gang.
Other than that, this episode doesn't really take any of the previous storylines any further...mostly just reflects on what was past and what was funny.
And the Joey/Rachel thing...very over. No romantic thoughts from Joey thinking what life would be like with Rachel, and there wasn't any "awkward" silences between the two. So, it was like nothing previously ever happened. (Possibly because the season is finishing up and I think that this diversion was just something to take up some time?)
