I just wondered how famous our stars are in the USA, such as Robbie Williams who has just had a number one with Nicole Kidman.
Or the Irish group Westlife who have had about 8 number ones here.

I'm just bored.

You may think this is boring.  But, it really isn't.  List more people!  (Sometimes I really don't know where the groups are from, just that they are popular).

Robbie Williams - He's cool.  And, he's making his way over here.

Westlife - Haven't heard anything about them yet.  Are they brand new...or...have they been popular for a long time where you're at?

The wayyyy popular ones over here, seems to be 'NSYNC (however, not really paying close attention to that), Linkin Park, Nickelback, and lots of others.  Sooo, list more.  And are any of those that I listed popular where you're at?

Westlife are an Irish Boy Band the've had hits for the past 3 years.
I've heard of Linkin Park but i don't really know the music. NSYNC are pretty successful here although that mostly through Britney who everyone loves, and most people hate Christina.

Have you heard of Kylie Minogue apparently she going to release some singles in the U.S. this year?

I love Robbie Williams in that video with Nicole Kidman! ;D And I like some of his songs, not all, though. He's very popular here in Spain, it was such a shock as he left Take That... I remember that from a friend of mine who was such a fan!!!

And Westlife... yeah, I know them too, I don't know if they're really popular here, but in Germany! Because of Ronan Keating, of course! ;D He's cute! Boyzone had very beautiful songs!

The Christina-Britney thingy... *lol* I personally like Britney better, but I think it's pretty much 50-50 here!

Oh yeah, Britney, very popular over here.  Nowww, you might say just with the teenyboppers, but, it's very strange to see how many people are really into reading what is happening with her.  She made the cover of Cosmopolitan which isn't a "teenybopper" magazine.  Annnd, Christina...it's almost like, "Christina who?"  now.  I really don't know why, either.

Mariah Carey, really out of it now.  In fact her record company, Virgin Records, is paying her NOT to sing.  How would that be?  Well it's sad for her because she can sing.  But, wouldn't it be nice to be paid not to sing?

You know what, now, I have to look up who these other people are Westlife and Kylie Minogue, so keep writing.  This is wayyy cool for me.

Heyyyyy, I didn't know we were "taking" some of the celebs (joking, you know...with the Robbie Williams being taken already!).  However, maybe we should start a thread about that, that would be funnnn too.

How about Blink 182?  Are they doing okay over where you're at?  

And adverts is a whole different thing over here.  Britney has Pepsi.  And I don't know who has Coca-cola's, but, usually there is a "pop" war.  And, it's usually pop stars that are promoting them.

Ok for those interested i've got some information for you. Kylie is going to release her single 'Can't get you out of my head' in the US on the 26th of February, she's also got a website where you can see the video www.Kylie.com.

Robbie has an website as well where you see the video with Nicole Kidman www.robbiewilliams.com. Before i forget Mariah Carey has actually done a duet with Westlife 'Against All Odds'.

Not heard much about Blink 182, but Wheatus are really big in the U.K. What do you think about Madonna living here now? W :De've kinda of adopted her.

And "Mo" (Madonna), is wayyy cool.  Hey, everybody loves Madonna, she's been one of the greatest influences to women everywhere.  I'm glad that she's well-received (adopted) in the UK.  I wondered if she would be, but, hey, it's "Madonna", she'd find her way.  

How about No Doubt?  and Sum41? and 311?  And, you probably don't know who I'm talking about, right?  Well, I guess that means, it's your turn, sooo, I'll wait for you to go.

I loved No Doubt song, i don't know Sum 41 and 311. Pink is doing really well here she's number two in the charts. George Harrison is number one.  
Britney was in the UK to do an interview and it's on tomorrow night, so the papers are full of her.

Oh, oh, oh!  Hey Kylie has arrived in the USA.  I just saw a Music Video on the television, sooo, that means that she's starting her way here.  

Pink!  Yes, she's here too.  

I'm glad Britney is popular, I hope it isn't too annoying.  

Also, Mandy Moore has a new movie out too.  Has her songs done anything over there?

Do you like Kylie she's really sweet and i can't believe she's 32.

:-/Mandy Moore isn't very popular she's a bit too like Britney, we haven't seen the Pepsi advert here yet.  

Enrique (don't know how to spell it) is number 1 here, so he's doing well prefer Ricky Martin myself although the UK has decided he's gay, i'll convert him.

Are BB Mak famous over there, they had a couple of songs out here but we've got so many boy bands now.

Do you know the Stereophonics, i know they were doing concerts in LA they are one of my favourite bands. ;D
